good to see mendy and cancello getting minutes....looks like we might see mini Kev in a more central role at times if Mendy stays fit....gives Pep another option in there as well

Soild performance but still think we look well below what we know we can do...so many players look to be below the levels that we have seen them the last two years whether it be physically or in the decisions they are making on the pitch. Playing devils advocate however its sometimes hard to judge in these European away games as lots of teams often seem a little flat in these types of games

Great performance.
Good to see Mendy back, he’s an absolute beast.
Great to see Cancelo, I just know he’s going to be awesome.
Gundo was excellent.

A pleasing performance and, in a perverse way, it probably did us no harm to wait so long for the killer goal. It meant we couldn’t slacken off, and even once we’d got the third, the players were still snapping in and working ferociously and tirelessly off the ball. It’s a shame that Shakhtar have lost so many players since we first met, though they continue to give us a good technical challenge.

Yep he woud normally have been sharp enough to bag a couple,need to be careful not to burn him out

Comfortable win against a really poor side. Need to start being more clinical in front of goal, should have been at least 5 tonight. Looked a lot better at the back with Dinho there, although can’t read too much into it given how poor Shakter were.

Good controlled and dominant performance, I thought the players played with more intensity tonight, could have been more but the clean sheet is great for morale.

Good to see Cancelo and Mendy get a small run out, Joao looks like he will be very entertaining to watch.
