I must confess I have been swayed to the dark side with chips instead of crisps. There are a few I hang on to, herb instead of 'erb being one
 

Ever since watching this I've noticed the Scots pronounce the h before the w. Completely spoiled the weather on BBC Breakfast (google Carol Kirkwood) so much so I don't know hwether to watch it or not. It's called voiceless labiovelar fricative apparently.

Ooh just thought of another annoying one, "Sixth" pronounced as "sikth", it's an 'x' people.
