Perhaps i,m wrong...and over-reacting to our first defeat since January,but tigerish,energetic but creative goal scoring midfielders goal scoring midfielders are what we are lacking at present...and that is something Foden can contribute,esp when you consider the lad scored almost as many goals as Silva last season.Its long over due for difficult decisions to be made..or,imo we will be losing two,not one brilliant midfielders this season.
The emergence of a goal scoring 16 yr old at Barcelona this season perhaps suggests that age should never be a bar to 1st team selection and is contrary to the often quoted view on these boards that Foden is too young to hold down a regular posistion in our side. If your good enough..your old enough..and ..if your 33 years of age you cannot expect to be playing every week in our midfield,in the premiership.

I didnt think he could get better but his last few seasons under Pep he has...

I cant remember a performance under 7/10 form him but he is regularly at least and 8/10 and above.

Players like Ginola, lampard, Zola and Henry are seen as premiership idols but for me (with maybe the exception of Henry) David silva beats them all by a country mile (and those mentioned i really rated as well (as well as others)
