125 years of City on Saturday

You would imagine they will have members of the Boston mumbi and Sydney supporters clubs presenting them with Ltd signed 125 year shirts while the players will be advised to flick the v sign from the comfort of the centre circle ensuring no contact is needed with anyone who attended a game PRE the mansour era!!!!
The Boston Blues will be ready!

That voiceover does my head in.

Also why is Anna Connell mentioned thought that was a dispelled myth?
There are quite a few inaccuracies that have come out from the club:

St Marks West Gorton aren’t the team who wore the black kit with white cross pattee, that was Gorton AFC’s kit. Yet City are selling merchandise with that kit labelled as St Marks West Gorton.

Connell College and the Connell Club are named after Anna Connell but she had nowt to do with the formation of St Marks never mind Manchester City.

St Marks West Gorton, Gorton AFC and Ardwick AFC were not forerunners to Manchester City FC. Manchester City were a new club from scratch on 16th April 1894, nothing came before us. In fact Ardwick actually played a match after City were formed.
