Liverpool pay City £1 million in "spy" settlement for hacking - biggest PL scandal

Strange as there is nothing on the bbc, sky sports or ITV sports news about it. Imagine if it was roles reversed, we’d be hung drawn and quartered before daybreak.
I don't know when it popped up but Sky are running it on the website at least (half way down mind). ITV are just genuinely useless, it's more interesting to see how long the BBC will hold out. Do they just have really slow lawyers?

The what club?

The MSM allow the Dippers to refer to the Heysel Massacre as a building accident so these headlines are true to form

Seems like it was our fault after all.

Apologies to Liverpool for doubting their class, dignity and integrity.

Yeah.
I remember judge pickles making a similar comment about rape and women in short skirts.
This is being portrayed by some as" finders, keepers". It's nothing of the sort. It's theft.

This wouldn't be the first time it's been suggested Liverpool have acted in poor taste behind the scenes towards City would it?

Why are the Liverpool echo referring to it as an allegation? If you're found guilty in a court or settle out of court, it's not an allegation any longer. It's then a judgement or admission of guilt.

If you settle out of court it is always "without prejudice" and not admission of wrong doing.

Obviously hacking is wrong, but not cancelling the access of a former employee is amateur as well so doesn't reflect well on either club.
