Mascherano for Barca was similar.I don't understand how Fernandinho is so comfortable slotting in so many positions... I've never seen another player not need more time and look so natural.
I see that, but I'd say Dinho is a better box-to-box midfielder than him.Mascherano for Barca was similar.
Your talking shit bud, sorry. The number of goals you score has nothing to do with good finishing.
Creating 10 chances and scoring 10 is perfect finishing.
Creating 100 chances and scoring 20 is shit finishing, doesnt matter if you scored 2x as many.
Today we've scored 8 and with clinical finishing wouod have scored 13 or 14.
Today it doesnt matter, and we are all having fun, but go back to past week and we had 3 or 4 big chances to score, didnt and it cost us the game. Or go back to April and it cost us in the CL.
Interestingly if you order that PL table in ratio order, the bottom 3 are the 3 that got relegated.
So they are, I've just realised that Watford are 4th last season too which goes to show stats really can be misleading.Interestingly if you order that PL table in ratio order, the bottom 3 are the 3 that got relegated.
It was you who was using conversion rates before suddenly jumping to xG when proven wrong.Conversion rate is an embarrassingly shit measure of finishing.
A much better method is looking at xG vs G, in which we frequently only keep up. Remembering of course that one of the best sides in Europe with world class forwards should be outperforming global xG, you start to see the issues Pep has talked about in the past, and others have pointed out now.
Every other top side with good forwards - Liverpool, Spurs, Dortmund, Juventus, Barcelona, PSG massively outperform xG, while we just keep up.
