Liverpool pay City £1 million in "spy" settlement for hacking - biggest PL scandal

Some of the media aren't reporting it because the scousers have there lawyers bullying and threatening them if they do report it. Scousers had the lawyers all over it in 2013 and stopped it coming out then.
There is an heading above a post on f365 querying the lack of reportage when they all went to town over the Leeds spygate incident. It puts it down to the limited number of staff working weekends.

"So that's that put to bed, brushed under the mat if you will - absolutely nothing to see here. And here's the lovely Anthea with the weather"...

Hacking data from an organisation is a criminal offence even if you don't gain financially. The person who was accused of this has since been promoted by Liverpool FC to Sporting Director. City will have agreed a legal settlement purely for expediency and £1m is a decent pay-out. However the question which needs to be asked now is how widespread is this practice at Liverpool FC? Why has no internal action been taken by LFC against the criminal activity of their staff? This happened when both clubs were going neck and neck for the title in 2013/14. Surely the Premier League must conduct its own investigation as they did when they sanctioned Leeds United. How many other clubs have been hacked by Liverpool?

You would imagine that all of these questions must be answered now that this has come out & that the authorities must of course get involved, then you remember it's football & it's Liverpool.

You're just talking shit now & proving you're a KFA. As we're in Manchester and the suspected offenders were in Liverpool why would we get the Met involved?

I don't know why you give out abuse due to someone disagreeing with you in an area they have experience rather than you assuming things?

They investigate but you get taken to a local station - the server is likely to be anywhere in the EU. They could have logged on anywhere in the world.
