Better than merlin not in my opinion.
But its close

Quite different players so difficult to make that comparison. I'll just settle for both in my fantasy team :)

None of us can see into the future so deciding now that Kev may not become our greatest ever player is presumptuous. Of course it will be hard to overturn the almost inevitable ascent of Merlin to Colin's crown due to the massive affection in which Silva is held by the current fan base. However, KDB is a quite exceptional player and probably more talented all round than Dave. Dave moves like no player I have ever seen but KDB makes passes that no one else sees. Dave is beautiful; Kev is incredible. We are blessed to have such players at City.

Pollock was marginally the better player.

Objectively De Bruyne is a better player than David. Just is. But Silva is the better player for City because he's been here longer and contributed more to our success.
