Walker is the kind of player who always needs competition for his place. He only ever busts a gut when he thinks his position is under threat.

We need to play Cancelo at right back in the league. Until we show Walker he’s not automatic first choice, it doesn’t matter who we sign to sit on the bench. Cancelo will hopefully get a run now.
