Seemed a good drummer, not really bothered about a musicians life away from music but couldn't hold a candle to Neil Peart.

Kudos.

Never heard of Dave Mattax. Dave Mattacks is another matter.

Gadd is certainly a top drummer but not convinced he is better than Baker.

My error there mate,must learn to spell properly.It's very subjective aint it.I like drummers who are precise and accurate not flabbing around the kit.Where do you think Mitch Mitchell stands? I thought he was the perfect foil for Jimi,could never see Baker and Jimi working out.
