Given that everyone at man city as well as football in general knows the fa, press, sky talkshite etc have it in for us why the fuck has rodri admitted he's learning to do tactical fouls to help the team on espn. The echo are running a story on it now bringing it to the attention of all refs and everyone else we won't even get 50/50 challenges in our favour now sometimes you just need to know when to button it.

Thing is everyone does it,it's a tag that only we have been labelled with by ratboy and tyler, they know what they are doing and it's done it's job, maybe rodders thinks that is the name for it in this country,it will get twisted though, pep should say every dm including himself has done it,that is a dm's job then never answer a question about it again

He doesn't actually say tactical foul, he says tactic for when.

Like there was no tactical fouling at Atletico under the tutelage of Diego Simeone....
You show me a top player who doesn’t commit tactical fouls.
Hardly groundbreaking revelation from Rodri.

Every referee in the league knows how we play by now, and that when we lose the ball we have a policy of "win it back or foul trying". They aren't going to be influenced by the liverpool echo 4 years into Pep being here and there's not been a noticeable increase in the number of fouls we concede after tactical fouling became a hot topic last season.

Dippers tactical foul, they rotate so they don't get sent off, they have 7 bookings so far this season,we got 5 in our last game alone,it is in the refs heads already and has been for a while

Exactly what I thought when I read the story. Doesn’t City have anyone as Press liaison to handle this stuff ?

If I remember correctly the stats from the Wolves game had us committing 11 fouls to their 14 - but we got 5 bookings to their 2.
