Reports in the papers that Chevrolet may not renew their shirt sponsorship (Times).

Deal expires 2021.
I suspect you can replace "may not" with "will 100% not" given that they never wanted it in the first place. The executive who agreed this deal got sacked for doing so and that was when the rags were still flying high under Ferguson. It couldn't really have gone any worse for Chevrolet since then!

It was a totally crooked deal in the first place. The clown in the marketing department who signed it off was fired for exceeding his authority as soon as the GM board heard about it. They wanted to get out of it but no surprise that it was watertight. No doubt he went down the road with a nice wedge from rag central though. Why didn't UEFA investigate this bent sponsorship? (Rhetorical question of course).

Adidas deal will reduce significantly if they're out of CL for 2 consecutive seasons isn't it. ?
United's share price dropping to a 2 year low.
Shevrolet having no plans to extend deal.
Squad full of mediocre players and a mid-table manager
Close to relegation and boring football.

How are they going to overcome this ?

Hopefully they aren't.

Big article on Woodward in The Athletic today. He, Matt Judge (who seems to do the transfers) and Richard Arnold (who's the group Managing Director) were all accountants then investment bankers so there isn't a single football person in the top hierarchy. Also it said that they wanted a DoF to be based at their London office in Mayfair, rather than at OT/Carrington. How can you not have your DoF based close to your coaching team and players?

Not a problem. Wouldn’t you like to work in Mayfair (if you were paid enough)? Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Three accountants running the club plus, probably, another one as DoF. Long may it continue.
