Just had another "good morning, I believe you've been involved in a car accident" call.

I thought I'd play along and "yes" was my reply which was followed by a long pause....

"So when were you involved in the car accident"?...... "You tell me seeing as you obviously know I was".... Long pause to hear she put the phone down on me.

Oh well, another number blocked.

Best one I got recently was a guy doing a survey. He started rambling on and said ...

"Don't worry sir, you don't need to answer any questions but can I please confirm your name?"

"Sir, sir, are you there? Can you hear me?"

"Can I confirm you are ... .....?"

Me: "Sorry, I thought I didn't need to answer any questions. Now please ... f#ck off!"

When I get the car accident call, I tell them that the person in the other vehicle tragically passed away, I've been under psychological therapy and thank them for bringing back dark memories.............. Click.

The best response is to tell them you are partially deaf because of the accident you were in and that you find it hard to hear, and apologise for shouting all of that down the phone, but continue to keep shouting at the top of your lungs.
