Went to the NEC to see Grand Designs Live today. Was going to have a look round Birmingham centre but it absolutely poured it down and gave it a miss.

Going to have a day in Leeds tomorrow.

Wife’s on a spa day tomorrow so a lovely day of peace and quiet. Take the kids swimming in the morning and then movies in the afternoon. Sunday a nice roast and a bottle of red will do nicely.

Like you say, I quite enjoy the international break as there is no stress of watching the PL.

I was doing golf in the afternoon but am now on the piss in Manchester as the course will be horrible with all the rain.

Saturday not a great deal, just both chilling.

Having a curry night on Saturday, just put the goat leg in the fridge with a thick spicy crust ( courtesy of Mumji) to marinate, chicken biryani, spicy deer balls :) and a bunch of dahls...and naans
