Anyone tried the craft beer from this Manchester brewery?. Bought a few cans and can highly recommend. Based on Piccadilly trading estate with a shop and bar. Some very strong IPA at 11/12% but very drinkable.

Awesome brewery and there’s a reason they win so many awards. Expensive though.

Very good, indeed.

Smuggled a few bottles back from my last visit, and my (German-Swiss) brother-in-law, who is an IPAficionado, said it was probably the best English made IPA he’s ever-tasted (and this time meant it as a compliment, as I’ve been trying to get him on English beer for some time). I am the Ale specialist in the boozer circle, but even I enjoy it.

It's easily one of my favourite breweries now, and I tried to be really careful about falling into the whole craft ale market. Usually anyone describing something as hand crafted can do one.

Never had a bad beer from them, even the lager is delicious. There's a website called honestbrew and they sometimes have deals on cloudwater stuff for under 3 quid a can.

Usually not cheap though, first time I went in their place I spent about 15 quid on four drinks with a third in each. But every one of those drinks was remarkable. So, not session stuff but a nice treat.

Want to take my old man on the tasting tour one day too, interesting to see if he'd enjoy the unusual beer or run for a pint of Brain's bitter straight after.
