The sad thing is, that's not really going to change anything. Racists are racists. Ban them for 10 games, they'll be back at it the first game they get back in, they think they're 'defiant'. ****s.

It’s a long term thing.

In the 1970 and 80s we had the same kind of fans at games doing the same thing the Bulgaria fans are tonight. There will be people who were part of that still going to games in England today who don’t do it anymore and across the wider community (football and general) the continual line that racism isn’t acceptable becomes the norm.

It might be the 2030s or later before this happens in these European countries, not forgetting that many of these countries do not have large ethnic minority populations like we do, but you have to get the ball rolling initially with the bans.
