Ragged trousered philanthropist

A load of socialist claptrap but relatable, despite not agreeing with it. Unlike the polarised ‘I deleted my mates cos they voted leave’ type culture we live in, I choose to learn about other ideologies rather than non platform them.

I know. I’m fucking great me

My dad made me read this soon as I left school.

A great book I’ve just read is the Fear Bubble by Ant Middleton (Ex SAS)

Eye of the Needle.
Ken Follett.
Read it years ago .
Saw it on a customer's book shelf and she let me borrow it.
Great read.

Just finished GBH by Ted Lewis. A brilliant read if you like gritty British crime thrillers. Each chapter is 1-4 pages long and they are titled The Smoke & The Sea alternately.

A Mancunian who also wrote Jack's Return Home, which the film Get Carter was based on, Lewis was a chronic alcoholic who died in 1982 aged 42 (two years after the original release of GBH). He is regarded in litary circles as a genuine world class genius.
