VAR cos the ref (even though he has a pitchside monitor he can use to review) initially gave the goal , as you know all goals are reviewed , VAR then agreed with him but put on the big screen No goal...in answer to your question feck knows

It looked like the referee over ruled VAR. He just pretended to hear something in his ear phone that VAR said give the goal. The screen said no goal. Nobody really knows who gave the goal or who disallowed it or whether it should have been a goal or should have been disallowed. What a mess.
