It was due to lots of calcium in their diet back then. It came from all the bones they used to have. Sadly, nowadays most are fed 'dry' food .... like dogs are meant to live on feckin' biscuits ... and few get any bones, thanks to faddy diets and owners.

Was in Great Yarmouth couple of weekends ago and I have never seen so many mobility scooters in one place. I was waiting to cross the road at one point and thought I had walked onto the grid of the mobility grand Prix! Some old biddy with crutches strapped to her scooter absolutely nailed the greenlight .

I narrowly escaped a DUI driving a golf cart on the road. This State Trooper was trying to give me a hard time for driving to the pub with four or five other drunken idiots hanging on, he finally saw the funny side as I dazzled him with my wit and charm
