City Maintain Premier League Record Of 18 Wins In A Row!

The dippers cannot have been scared by that rag team,i think the pressure to equal the record got to them, not that it would have been our record they equalled given they had a 3mth holiday inbetween, the fact that klopp said we weren't thinking about the record and we haven't even talked about told me the opposite was the case

Heir Klopp speak with forked tongue methinks .

Not kept up to date with this thread, but I give absolutely no credence to winning "runs" that span 2 seasons.

Made up shite to fit the narrative that the dippers have been as good as we have.

they been the best team over the last 48 games apparently, and had to watch us win the league twice during that run :-)

Posted this elsewhere recently.. We won 18 league games on the bounce along with 3 League Cup ties (2 of which went to extra time and penalties) and 6 Champions League games, all in 17 weeks at the height of the season. That’s some record, posting 18 consecutive league wins during a spell of 27 games (and we only lost one of those 27 games, the dead rubber at Shakhtar)

The Scouse Filth’s run up to Sunday’s draw with The Red Filth took approximately 32 weeks to play a similar number of games. However, they had 12 of those weeks ‘off’ over the summer to rest and recuperate. Oh and they also had 2 weeks’ rest between their final game of last season (at home to Wolves) and the CL Final with Spurs.

What City achieved in that period has never been fully, properly credited. And it wasn’t simply grinding out the results, 1-0 at a time etc. It was achieved playing some of the most sublime football ever seen on this planet, let alone in the English league. So, come back when your team does it as stylishly as that and in that kind of timeframe, you venal, jealous media kn*bheads..

Yep and if it wasn't for that outrageous red card against Everton it would've been 20 on the bounce to start the season
