Talking sensible nonsense...; )
Bought a fusion proglide razor on tuesday, came with one blade. Been pricing spare blades up, wow robbing bastards! Read a few years back the cartridges cost pennies to produce.

I've tried several other brands but like their advertising slogan, I agree, best a man can get, but so fuckin' expensive! Reluctant to buy snide blades online so if any of you know where I can buy genuine blades at a non rip off price I'd be grateful.

I wait until boots have a deal on the razor+blade combo sets (usually 16-18 blades) and then buy that, happens every 6 months or so.

If you wet shave then this is all you will ever need.

Close and minimal irritation due to a single blade as multi blade razors do nothing but push hairs into the skin causing ingrowing hairs, spots, rashes.

Good quality shave soap as well, not the shit foam and gel in a can.

Let the weight of the head do the work, easy.

Bought a shavette a couple of years back (https://www.bluebeards-revenge.co.u...hroat-straight-razor-uses-replaceable-blades/) Never looked back.

A years worth of blades cost me less than a fiver.

The beauty of using a straight razor is I can shave off full beard growth without clogging the blade, so a weekends worth of growth is no trouble at all.

When you first start out using a straight razor it does take a while to shave, and you can end up looking like an extra from a horror movie, but after a few weeks you can be done inside 5 minutes.

Light touch, glide the razor over the skin and let the weight of its head do the work.

One pass shave is better than any gillete shit.

4 pass shave for a baby smooth that she will love ;-)

And you can kill people with it
