That response seems rather thoughtless and ingenious. The forum topic is 'climate crisis'.Yeah I'm pretty hardcore on this. You should need to pass a credit check to add another one to the population, then show you are fit for purpose.
Too many people who have nothing to add squirting them out by the dozen. Cull the herd and several problems would be resolved.
With regard to world resources, the poorer and often larger sector of the population of the world (or the herd, 'being fit for purpose', or 'having nothing to add' as people condescendingly put it) actually use far less of the earth's resources (think carbon footprint, air travel, 2 vehicle families. big corporation wastage etc etc.) than the smaller, often more educated nuclear families. There are many many per capita studies on carbon footprint that prove this point. It may serve you well to read them. The over-populated, and often less educated residents of Africa, Liberia, Zimbabwe et al DO NOT use more of the earths resources than the smaller, wealthier countries or families.
