Sterling is the surprising performance in the game. He is in top form, got a rest mid-week and not doing enough for the high standards he has.

The team needs another tactic than doing high crosses to midgets.

Extremely poor again like v Wolves.
Just like previous games lumping high balls in the area that 90% of the time get cut out. And lack of bodies in the penalty area where it matters

thought it was just me noticing that. It’s driving me nuts & we have done it so much this season. Our players are 5ft theirs 7ft! We will never beat them in the air.

For all the negative BS on here we have actually played well. It’s been a game of attack and defence with us doing all the attacking and Southampton defending for their lives. We need to keep the ball on the ground and we will break them down.

Gundogan has been wasteful with the final ball into the area on a few occasions.

None of them are getting the ball through cleanly but the most passes are coming from Gundogan who is doing no worse than any other playmaker.
