Can't blame them really it was the sensible thing to do for them.

I absolutely can blame them. This is supposed to be the best league in this country. No space for teams too scared to play football. Let a team with some balls in the championship have a go.

Well we've seen that game before. Attack vs defense, only one team interested in playing, the frustration only topped if you lose which can quite easily happen but not today. A pinpoint Bernardo delivery or a Kompany screamer, you need something special to happen. Perfect low cross Walker for Agüero to guide through the keeper's legs. The millionth cross from Angeliño, spilled by the keeper and motm Kyle got the winner at the back post. Pep playing ball kid, Ederson taking the quick throw-in, and when he not the opposition goalie got a yellow the team and Pep rightly going mad, lots to remember. After seeing that I've got even more belief we're coming all the way back!

Great game, Southampton had some luck with the early goal, no real shame on the defense there. Then Southampton parked a bus and admittingly did it really well too, but even a strong bus often starts to reel in the later game and our playes kept battling. The amount of chances on goal were increasing steadily in the late game as their defense got tired as can be expected in such gritty matches. Our win was well deserved, we could have had a few goals more with a bit more luck.

Exciting game, fun to watch with the stakes in mind.

Good win in the end, would have been fantastic if Villa held on but it looks like we will have to do it ourselves.

I feel strangely flat after that dipper 94th minute fluke.

Still their ridiculous luck cannot carry on fir two whole seasons, surely.

I can't work out if I'm happy or not.
