Mental Health in Manchester

A quick update.

We held a workshop in town yesterday with health professionals, carers and patients, which built upon the great replies we had received through the survey. It was a superb experience, a really great working environment and we would like to thank everyone who responded because you really helped set up priorities which we discussed thoroughly yesterday. The response was far better than we first anticipated.

Next step is to build on the priorities and submit a report to the decision makers in December and then hopefully we will be able to showcase the final findings in the new year.

The survey is still open for another week or so if anyone wants to add anything, nothing will be ignored and all will be considered.

Thanks to everyone for your help in this, its been an incredibly worthwhile process and hopefully the people of Manchester will benefit enormously from everyone's efforts

Cheers.

Our kid is a partner in a Health & Safety company offering all the usual courses to businesses and he has now also qualified as a mental health first aider and will be training people up to offer help for those in need in the workplace.

An incredibly worthwhile thing to do, I was speaking to a girl who is a mental health first aider and their is a growing need for them I feel. Well done your kid.
