Whether it was a pen or not the ref should have given the pen and let VAR make the judgment. The fact that Liverpool scored during the same phase of play is another reason why the goal shouldn’t have been allowed.

City player has a hand ball before the Liverpool player. So it was according to the books.
 
Should have been a penalty.

Second was onside.
The line they drew wasn't at the right angle(look how much of a gap there is to the left of the blue line) and the ball hadn't left his foot.

Would it surprise anyone if they didn't show it at the time because they wanted to have enough time to find the right angle for the line and the right frame to show him onside? A couple of frames after he may have been offside as the ball leaves his foot.

He may have been onside but I don't trust the way they handled this.

When was the last time PIGMOL tried to justify (yet another) bollock drop, before the first half had even ended. Corrupt to the core!!
 
Then players have no worries about having their arms out wide, as it has now been deemed “natural!”
