Raheem Sterling and Gomez - "bust up" at England camp

Spot on aa123

After 17 years on City forums i think this is the most ignorant thread I've ever read, and that takes some doing. Im a seasoncard holder and match goer since 1977 and reading this rubbish makes me embarrassed to be a football fan and City fan.
Sterling has reacted badly to Sunday and apologised yet most on here want to hurl abuse at at Liverpool football club, people from Liverpool, Gareth Southgate and the FA - the mind boggles.
You don't have to be thick to be a fan.

Have you not noticed the abuse hurled at Raheem and Manchester City FC from people from Liverpool over the years?

You only posted the aftermath. I remember it at the time and felt the same. Didn’t think he was mocking Walker. That’s my take.
I remembered the incident and searched for it on Youtube and someone had already uploaded the clip. Clearly they thought the same as I did.

I found the Sky TV coverage on 88 minutes and it's not conclusive so I haven't bothered uploading it.

Southgate is a ****, he actually thinks he’s a great manager when in fact he’s crap, just another yes man.
Agreed, gets lucky with piss easy qualifying groups and only done what was expected at the World Cup, nothing more, nothing less. Crap manager and this sums him up. Why release it in public and to only send one home is laughable but predictable to who he sent home. Good rest for Sterling at least now over pointless games where they will play turgid football against poor opposition and grind out 2 nil wins.
So Southgate wants to play like us but then drops Walker with excuses about wanting to try something else (how about a bloody midfield without Henderson/Winks/Dier for a start), then sends home Sterling

I think you’re reading too much into that one, Marv. It was near the end and Robertson probably realised that the game was now won, with a two goal coushion, after a late rally by City. He looked more relived than anything else.

True and a bit of banter at the end of a game is to be expected. It was a big win for Liverpool (staying the obvious). Playing the victim in the England squad the next day takes a whole different level of asshole!!

That's the problem though here,he hasn't been sent home, which makes it even more stranger
