Var debate 2019/20

Somebody will probably have answered this already but at all grounds (barring the 2 'iiiiiiiiiistory boys) the VAR decision would have been shown on the big screen (with the official VAR footage).

Is it as silly as it wasn't a requirement due to the lack of a big screen and have only now just realised that this causes s lot of scepticism?

For the record, VAR is an absolute shambles and I am not remotely trying to defend their incompetence.
They don't show the replay in the screen.

The VAR decision was made in less time than the guidance issued to referees by PGMOL.

Footage of the VAR review wasn't broadcast during the match as it always is.

Footage of the VAR review wasn't made available to broadcasters either during the match or subsequently, otherwise it would have been all over the television/newspapers for the past two days.

PGMOL have responded to requests for an explanation by providing a written statement but didn't also feel it necessary to provide any video footage, which they absolutely would have in their possession if a check had taken place.

Salah may have been onside, who knows, but it certainly was not checked by VAR.

The man on the Clapham Omnibus would conclude - Guilty as Charged

Scrapping it is our only hope of winning the league
