Thanks for the clarification mate - so there's 2 refs called Paul Tierney? I must admit when I saw that one doing the rounds the other day, I thought it was far-fetched but given all the other shit going on at the moment I got roped into believing it was one and the same!

They couldn't even get their story straight on Sunday and Monday. One person said Oliver said he'd seen the handball by Arnold and deemed it accidental, and wanted VAR to confirm his judgement. BUT another said VAR official told him Arnold's arm was in a natural position.
Even if they admit it privately it wasn't working they would argue, 'What did you want us to do? There were 50,000 people in the ground, millions watching around the world. What do you want us to do? Call it off?'
