Mahrez hasn't been in form for a while. Look at this thread as an example. The first 40 pages of the thread were before the Watford game, and the last 6 or 7 have been almost all complaints.
His performances aren't really sparking any discussion because he's been pretty bland. Some good bits, the same old frustrations, nothing new to talk about.
Bernardo is a better player and unless Mahrez is in amazing form, Pep's probably going to play Bernie because he works harder, he loses the ball less and if we can play Bernardo into form then the team benefits a lot more.
Mahrez has hardly played for a while, at the start of the season when he played he was better than Bernardo who was out of form. People have differing views re the 2 players.Mahrez hasn't been in form for a while. Look at this thread as an example. I don’t think Mahrez performance against Wolves has done him any favours with Pep.
It is a fact that Mahrez has been in form and has been dropped. I don't understand why you are arguing that.
The problem is, that's not actually true. He started all the games during his in form period except for a midweek tie at Preston and was only dropped after an absolute stinker at Wolves (which he also started). It is a fact that Mahrez has been in form and has been dropped.
