Sporting Moment of the Decade

Alex Honnold's free solo climb (no ropes/safety gear) of Yosemite's El Capitan. 3000ft cliff in which one mistake would result in death. First human to achieve it, may never be repeated.

Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson climbing the Dawn Wall (once again in Yosemite). First time the route has been climbed, was deemed impossible for years. Took Tommy 7 years to find a route up the blank section of 3000ft tall granite.

My worst nightmare

Miracle at Medinah
Super Saturday 2012
Cricket WCF 2019
and to a lesser degree
Murray winning Wimbledon
Brits dominating Le Tour de France
Hamilton winning his 6th drivers Championship

In terms of footballing moments:

Aguerooooo
Leicester
Centurions
Wigan winning the cup (ffs)
England winning a penalty shoot out
Bale's overhead kick to win the Champions League
Domestic Treble/Quadruple barrier being broken
Rooney breaking England scoring record (ffs)

There have been loads of incredible achievements in the past decade.

-Aguero
-Cricket WC final
-Stokes producing the greatest innings by an English test batsman
- Leicester winning the PL

This is brilliant!

This and the Agüerooooo moment are the main reasons why VAR is so shit.

It’s not about the right or wrong decisions or about underlying problems of manipulation or corruption; it’s about that special moment when the ball hits the net. VAR ruins that moment. You couldn’t be running around on the pitch without a care because, now, you just don’t know if they’ll find something to disallow the goal.
