Short European breaks

Any tips mate flying into there on the way to Zagreb only £27?

Was last there about 12 years ago. Stayed with Mrs P and some friends in a rented apartment in the old town by the river. It’s a very friendly, young city - a large student population - with lots of good bars, especially along the river. Can’t remember any particular names, unfortunately. We went in late May, so weather was warm and sunny. If you want to do cultural stuff, there’s the National Museum, Modern Art Gallery, Ljubljana Castle and the Cathedral. The younger locals all speak good English. A decent mix of restaurants/eating places but a strong Italian influence. Lots of pizza places. Sorry I haven’t provided any specific names of bars and eating places but they may well have changed since then. Anyway, bud, enjoy your trip. Come on you Blues!

Had a few days in Porto a while back and really enjoyed it. Somilar to Budapest as 2 cities (Porto and Gaia) divided by a river. Heaven if you like drinking Port and reasonably priced. Some lovely old buildings and direct flights.

Seville is prettier than Malaga. It has to be Germany for a city break. I love Berlin.
