Liverpool pay City £1 million in "spy" settlement for hacking - biggest PL scandal

Would Pinto have needed to hack if he had been provided with passwords. Who could have given him passwords? Why would they give him passwords? What level of access would the passwords provide? What would he provide in return? What's the chronology of the passwords being misused and the period of his activity?

So many questions, hope someone has asked them. Probably worrying about nothing.

Bet City are kicking themselves they didnt report it to the fraud squad instead of a measly 1 million pay off bet Liverpool couldnt believe it!

I’ll tell you something if it was City doing exactly what they did we would of been in deep shit by all the authorities! You just see how those scousers behaved when paid a decent fee for Sterling!!

Well it can't have been the dippers , because it's never their fault .

Let the ****s piss the league. Few days later they are deducted enough points for another club to be declared champions.

The piss boiling would be immense.

It's still hacking if you're provided with passwords without authorisation.

Liverpool mouth-piece Tony Evans who claims inside information from EUFA,the same EUFA that are “investigating”MCFC,on the word of an arrested hacker, but Evans with all his informants knows nowt and can,t have a single word to say on this topic of hacking.Journalist my arse.

they wont get any further punishment, we've accepted a payment from them to keep it hush hush

That payment has no legal basis. A serious criminal offence has potentially been committed and if (and if is the key word) it is properly investigated and Liverpool are proved to have hacked City then it is a) a criminal offence for which Liverpool would be prosecuted and b) it has to be in breach of FA conduct rules and they would receive a very severe sanction. McLarens £100m fine for hacking Ferrari has to be the precedent. This is potentially the biggest story in British football for decades but few if any journalists are interested. It’ll be interesting to see how the FA manage to brush something as big as this under the carpet and I suspect City are piling on the pressure to get back at Liverpool. In time this could get very very interesting. I hope it does.
