Once upon a time this was a special holiday for me due to family getting together, nowadays however I have a version of Thanksgiving once a month with family. Moreover, while the tradition is great in principle to spend time together as family the history behind the actual events is absolutely nauseating as it attempts to whitewash the wiping out of the indigenous people of America

I no longer eat turkey but I do love a great pumpkin pie
