Anthony Taylor ref for The Derby with Michael Oliver on VAR duty

Imagine going to the mat arguing that this was not a red card. If this happened against a City player the conspiracy thread would get 35 pages longer.

As others have pointed out, there were several serious fouls, including 2 or 3 in one game vs spurs where at most a yellow were given. Its the complete lack of consistency that is being argued, not a single tackle in isolation

Would love them to have to explain thier choice of Olliver for VAR , as others have said Taylor wasn’t too bad last year in the Derby.

Both times Olliver has been in charge for us this season he has been diabolical

I'll have a stab on how the match will unfold..

First tackle for City.. Booking!

Rags chopping down City players.. No Booking!

Soft free kicks every opportunity around our box... Given!
(if the useless ****'s get out of their own half that is)

Offside flag raised every time City push forward, no VAR advantage played.. 100%!

City goal ruled out by VAR after play brought back 2 minutes prior.. Definitely!

Time wasting by the rags ignored.. Nailed on!

... not sure how they will ref the second half to be honest..!

Probably have it spot on there, but you forgot the blatant pens not given to us through handball or being hacked down, but a pen given to the rags for the ball brushing past a fingertip when arm is down by players side, after a 3 min review on VAR oh and in the last min as well or the 7th min of stoppage time when only 4 mins have been added ...

That sounds like the second half's sorted then deano..!

Dodgy in the extreme.
Mind you, Dean is a Tranmere fan after all, so there’ll be no doubt about his neutrality.

Yes, I think Dean is a different matter. Taylor regularly refs Manchester clubs, Dean doesn't often do a Merseyside club but is fine for the derby there.

Denied us a penalty in both games and no doubt will deny us on Saturday... Blind Bent Twat
