Var debate 2019/20

should we take the offsides out of the hands of the match officials now VAR is in play, it would be so easy for VAR to judge if a goal or corner comes of being offside

so many times this season you see the flag go up early and its close or not even offside meaning you lose the chance of scoring, even the rules state that the lineman should keep the flag down if he not 100% and leave it to VAR, so take it away from the match officials and let the game flow until it goes out for a corner of a you score and if nothing comes of it just play on and play the advantage

This is pissing me off the most. I remember a linesman being scoffed by commentary because he waited to flag a player who was nearly 3 yards offside. That's exactly the way to do it. While he may get a call wrong he's never going to have the game stopped because of it or stop a "goal" being scored because of it.

yep

just take it away from the linesman altogether and let VAR judge because its guessing at times by the linesman when its close, so just let the game flow and if something comes from it just review it

because its a dead ball if it goes in the net or goes for a goal kick or corner, so take away the guessing by the linesman and players will stop all this the flag was up or play to the whistle crap

Linesmen flagging privilege is another assurance to cheat when needed. Numerous situations this season when Liverpool opponents were flagged offside and game stopped when they are in good positions, just for replay to show it was not offside. It happened last night too later in 2nd half.

One of the main situations VAR was brought to fix, absolutely zero reasons to waive flag unless stonewall offside as VAR can easily fix the mistake, but they still use it when it fits them.

It's fantastic opportunity to cheat. Wave flag early for the team you want to cheat, before they score the goal and situation will be forgotten easily, even if decision is wrong, as no goal was scored and don't wave if you want benefit other team and if you're wrong, the worst that could happen is VAR fixing your mistake. The team you cheat for is never on the end of wrong decision and other team can be.
