Premier League (midweek) Games 3/4/5 December

The application is so shit. If we’re going to persevere with VAR then the linesmen should NOT be raising their flags. They should fuck off, they are merely there to provide another angle to view incidents (and do nothing about them no doubt). Offsides should be decided after the fact by VAR. Carry on playing and if it’s offside it’s offside. But a situation where they raise their flag, encourage players to stop, then still allow the goal afterwards... this is a fucking joke. It’s actually absurd.

Just when you thought football was already dead, they go and repeatedly shoot it in the face for good measure.
 
I’m wondering why more isn’t being made of the very sparse crowd at the Emirates. Looks like a Europa league attendance. They’ve got rid of the manager which they wanted, they’ve got a club legend in temporary charge, why the hell wouldn’t the fans turn up to support both him and the team?

surely what’s absurd is the years we had to put up with perfectly good goals being disallowed, that was onside and only because of VAR that Newcastle got justice - yet people still moan about it.

I know it’s still messy at times but that goal is definately not a stick to beat VAR with
