Just been in the History section of the site, and I found that on 7th March 1964, against Derby County, that was indeed our defence. We won 3-2.
I was 13 at the time.

I remember Roy Cheetham well from my early days at Maine Road. I also remember him getting constant abuse from one bloke who stood not far from me and my dad.

I never knew that Glyn Pardon started off as a forward .
He always played left back by the time I started attending City games in 1966.
And possibly the odd game as a midfielder as well.
