What a trip down memory lane. The Football Museum's newest exhibition is about football shirts - I went last weekend and it was a blast.

They have some fantastic shirts on display at the NFM but not enough on City in my opinion considering it's location.

Would love to see one on display at City dedicated to shirts as part of the club tours.

Also worth shouting out the Classic Football Shirts shop on Deansgate, though given how they price their shirts OP's collection is probably worth £1000s!

Marc-Vivien Foe match worn shirt v Aston Villa 26th December 2002, Foe hit two goals in City’s 3-1 Boxing Day victory and would present this shirt as a gift after the game to the daughter of a well known City supporter.

Discovered hidden away in a Manchester cupboard since 1953 !! A one off special shirt design for Maine Road’s new floodlights v Hearts, the shiny look finish was designed to reflect better under the new lights but was only used for these floodlit fixtures. Worn by Billy Sowden.

Trevor Morley match worn shirt v Everton 17th December 1989......Howard Kendall’s first game as City manager.

Scott Hiley 1995/96 issued long sleeve away shirt.

20th May 1981 Tommy Booth match worn testimonial shirt.

Dietmar Hamann 2008-09 Premier League match worn long sleeve shirt.

1974/75 match worn long sleeve UMBRO shirt. Worn & scored in by Tommy Booth in his return from injury fixture at Sheffield United 11th January 1975.

Joey Barton 2006/07 match worn/issued Premier League long sleeve signed shirt.

Kasper Schmeichel 2006/07 Premier League issued signed shirt.

Peter Schmeichel & Carlo Nash match worn signed 2002/03 Premier League Season shirts.

Asa Hartford 1982/83 match worn home featuring black SAAB sponsor.

Aymeric Laporte v Hoffenheim December 2018.

Wyn Davies match worn shirt 24th May 1972 v Scotland.....One of only two Welsh International’s Wyn appeared in as a City player.

George Weah match issued 2000/01 Premier League. The former World Player of the Year lasted 10 weeks at Maine Road before falling out with City manager Joe Royle. He was unhappy about being left out of the starting line-up and complained that Royle showed him a lack of respect.

Awesome collection, loads of those Umbro ones remind me of Christmas Days in my childhood and waking up to unwrap a present containing one of these.
