LeagueCup SF - Man Utd - away allocation of only 3000 (p30)

Does anybody have any idea what United will charge for a Carabao Cup semi-final game. They have been pretty notorious for charging visiting fans ridiculously high prices for tickets at OT.
I don't mind paying the Premier League price of £30 for away fans, but I am fooked if I am going to contribute £45/50 to the coffers of Stretford.
They've charged Rochdale and Colchester £37 plus.
Greedy Bastards!

United are charging their own fans £35 for adults £10 for kids, think that's pretty reasonable tbf. Hopefully they charge the same for us.

The League Cup prices for away fans are normally £36 to £43 and most will be 2nd tier east stand.

As they have 9 ticket categories they never charge one price, except for kids.

City and United agree the prices for this cup, so if we do get ripped off it will be down to the usual supspects at our club as much as thiers.

According to the rules of the competition 23.2.2 the admission prices to be charged to supporters of a Visiting Club shall not be higher than those charged to the supporters of the Home Club for comparable accommodation and in particular concessionary rates offered to senior citizens and junior supporters shall apply equally to both sets of supporters.

That has been the case since the 1980s but in 2010 city agreed to let city fans pay £5 more at their place. I.e. did not insit City season ticket holders and members got the same £5 discount.

Just testing the water.

Don’t expect any feedback at all.

Is there any appetite whatsoever for an GMP escorted march to Old Trafford?

Shambles Square and Exchange Square would be a good starting point.

A few 100, or even into the 1000’s, would be great.

We will be getting 9000 tickets.

Wouldn’t surprise me if they tried to pull a similar stunt on Alan Turing Way.

Off the website :

The first leg will be played at Old Trafford on Tuesday 7 January, with kick-off at 8pm.

And the return leg at the Etihad is scheduled for Wednesday 29 January at 7.45pm.

I suspect the police will do all they can to actively ensure that no large groups of either sets of fans are allowed to group together
