They don`t wear coats up there,They`re called blazers. He's probably got a new coat as well.
I think you`ve taken this far too seriously.Think people are missing the point a bit on this thread although to be fair whenever I go to the lakes, not that often, there seems to be no shortage of visitors including loads of foreign tourists. A few facts about the economy of the Lake District and how reliant it is on the white middle class demographic would be interesting. Also, not to try and stir anybody up but will the mainly service industries of the lakes flourish without the large number of Europeans working there?
They did keep me to the western lakes, not sure I was allowed in the posh bits :-)Well they’ve let you live there ;-)
Didn't she win Bake - Off??This is not new. Some years ago, there was a complaint that the Yorkshire Dales were not accessible to the asian population of Keighley. (Ffs you just get on a bus or a train or drive there). So the LA gave a grant to a woman to encourage ethnic minorities to visit. She put up a few posters and spoke to local community groups. Result: nada.

Lol 'western lakes' - you mean the shit bit on the coast with no lakes, plenty of nuclear waste, and a local population that divides it's time between greggs and poundland? They did keep me to the western lakes, not sure I was allowed in the posh bits :-)
