They lined up 5-4-1 last game I wouldn’t be opposed to matching that given the players that probably need a rest and what we have to come in.
I’m assuming nobody else is injured or fit from tonight’s squad.

Options to change the midfield as Pep see’s fit, can either have the two roaming behind the striker or go with a diamond with gundogan at the base, Foden and kdb either side and mahrez behind the striker. It fairly seamlessly drops back into our more preferred formation too with minor adjustments.

Walker and Bernardo have worked their arses off and need rotating out, ideally Fernandinho and kdb do too but that’s not really achievable and will have to wait until weekend. Sterling has been piss poor of late and can do with the rest.

Can push to a 4-3-3 where needed playing Cancelo RW and Jesus off the left, just we need to rest certain players and protect our backline better.

No need to risk Garcia as he looked out of his depth when McGoldrick came on. I'd go with Nicolas Otamendi to counteract they're physical presence up front
