That doesn't say much for the rest of them. Sorry, IMO he is far from being that
Perreira is better than Walker defensively. So is Want Bissaka. The view that Walker is the best is just blue tints.

It's not popular here but Walker has as many gaffes as Otamendi per game. Love his speed, athletism, energy and fight. But he ball watches way too often.

Totally agree

He would lap Otamendi while walking. Since pace in our back four has been a major issue, Walker is far more valuable than Otamendi. Not even close.

Which makes it doubly annoying that he has so many gaffes.

A significant portion of Otamendis' gaffes are attempts to make up or hide his lack of speed. Walker's gaffes are often just inexplicable.

Play walker as right wing back. Build play through the left side and switch to the right by sending him through using speed. Have him cross and goal.

Walker is too poor on the ball to be so important in build up. He only plays inverted because Pep uses him to stop counter attacks, but he is a poor midfielder.

But if he is wide right, we can utilise his best asset more often, his athleticism. And with Cancelo looking good there (probably better because he has good midfielder qualities) we can rotate.

I love Walker. I'm critical of him and don't have blue tinted lenses as it concerns who is the best RB in the league. But I love his attitude and aggression and athletism

Lmfao you watched him for 1 game and he's automatically ahead of Walker & Cancelo? Haha

Yes. I've seen enough of Walker the last four year and enough of Cancelo to make the judgement that he would be a better fit for us ahead of either.
