Likewise and all other things being equal I’d agree with you but beating Utd puts us in a final, beating real still leaves us with 2 more crack teams to overcome.

They are not equal competitions though. A final against Leicester gives us much better chance to win than a quarterfinal in the CL but the importance of both competitions is on completely different levels, at least for the players, imo.
