Bernardo is slowly getting back to his level, brilliant all round performance from him. I thought Fern and Mahrez were also excellent as was Walker, while Mendy managed to do what Angelino should have done to James in the PL.

Comparing players performances is tricky. Fern and Bernie both played towards the top of their games. I thought Fernandinho was just a rolls Royce of a footballer yesterday. What he lacks in pace he more than makes up for in reading the game and intelligence. His defensive display, positioning, transition were just bloody amazing. He pips it imo.

Bernardo of course will take the plaudits for a great display, a fantastic goal and a sublime through ball for the 2nd but I just edged motm to Fernandinho, he was faultless tonight. KDB was top class again - loved his gesture to the Stretford End after the 3rd. Rodri strolled imperiously through the first half - he’s gonna be some player in a year or two.

Winning a SF at Old Trafford makes em all heroes - well done one and all

All of that plus a big shout for Walker who stepped up and showed the others what beating those fuckers means. Giving motm to Bernardo though as the lad was everywhere.
