More of the same.

Phil on for David at 55 minutes.

I agree, these are the games where we should be giving him as many minutes as possible, the game is over and if he came on now i wouldn't complain.

That said I suspect Pep will want to see what this line up can do for at least another 15-20 minutes.

Spurs had more shots, more corners, more clear chances and the much better attacking threat of the 2nd half.

Liverpool has more shots on target, more possession and more goals.

They had 80% of possession in the first half.

You can phrase stats to fit whatever agenda you want really but to say winning 1-0 at Spurs was lucky for them is biased.

And I hate the fuckers.

Villa have been as poor as we have been ruthless today.
Our pressing from the from has been better than previous games, maybe it’s the Gabby & Kun duo.
We are moving the ball much quicker and there are players “moving” onto the passes, rather than receiving the ball static.
Great to see, let’s keep it going and not “gift” them a goal.
Merlin off, Foden or Bernardo on please.
