Does he know bia legal sources or illegal sources?

Tebas unfortunately is a very powerful man, with very powerful connections and friends within football and politics, who is determined to destroy City. ( and PSG)

While turning a blind eye to Real and Barcelona.

Tebas.

La Liga President, Javier Tebas: “A sanction needs to be imposed. I know Manchester City's figures, where their income comes from and that figures don’t add up

He is a laugh every one knows where the income comes from, our income was scrutinized by UEFA as per our failing FFP punishment, our sponsorship deal was deemed value for money as it was similar to Arsenal a team we had dispossessed of a CL spot
It`s a pity Spain will probably go bankrupt after brexit

We all know that whatever the outcome we will still be considered guilty in the eyes of the masses. The damage is already done. I can already see once we get acquitted there will be talk of bribes from the Sheik etc etc...

Still a much better outcome than being found guilty and punished. People will eventually come back to their senses if all they've got is unverified claim of bribes.

Look who is back

La Liga President, Javier Tebas: “A sanction needs to be imposed. I know Manchester City's figures, where their income comes from and that figures don’t add up, if we take into account the market figure. So I think that some kind of penalty needs to be imposed.”

“Uefa have dealt with some FFP cases the right way and they should be congratulated. But there are two specific cases, Manchester City and PSG, which are not being dealt with correctly. When we have clubs being financed by states, this causes inflation.”

Interesting that he’s raised his head above the parapet? Making such an inflammatory and predictable acquisition? Maybe things are not going as he planned inside UEFA.... be interesting to see if our other enemies start to plant stories about us in the next few weeks as is their normal modus operandi?

Surely there is some sort of rule prohibiting UEFA officials discussing ongoing cases?

Take a look at the comments on the Mirror article. It's chock full of lunatic made up stories by rabid dippers who care nothing for the truth and even though they look as if they were written by a five year old there are masses of equally stupid people who will believe them.

This idiot needs shutting up by the club constantly calling us out as cheats the tit needs to look at his own league first.

Ourselves and PSG have really upset the apple cart haven't we.

The cartel stranglehold over football was never under threat until our 2 clubs takeovers, so they devised ffp to safeguard their status in the game

The fact this prick constantly shouts his hate of it all is showing their true colours

Depends whether it's verbal, in which case it's slander, or written (or some other form of permanent communication), in which case it's libel. The distinction is important as to bring a successful action for slander you have to prove that the words have been damaging to you. So if someone said something untrue about you and it directly led to you losing your business or a large chuck of income, you could sue for slander. That restriction doesn't apply to libel so if he's written an article that claims we're cheats and have falsified our income, then regardless of any financial or other impact on us, we could potentially sue. He could however mount a defence on the basis that, due to the articles in Der Spiegel or other information he was aware of, he honestly believed we were guilty of these things.

Wouldn't City need to prove what he said was untrue in order to win? Or would he have to prove it was true?

The former seems something that City would want to avoid as it would require revealing things they'd prefer not to.
