Another genius pass. Been delivering that raking, curved diagonal since day one - albeit this one wasn't such a long pass.He grew into the game and got better in the last 15 mins . he didnt play badly but i belive he is much more effective further forward

Never gave up in a tough game. They made us work very hard but we matched their work rate and didn’t let ourselves get bullied.
Laporte was a level above everyone on the pitch for about an hour of that game, once he’d got into his stride in the game and before he got tired, he was superb!
de Bruyne was class throughout and Agüero was brilliant when he came on.
Fern put himself about, Otamendi and Rodri were good.
Some poor performances from Zinchenko, Jesus and Sterling though.
But we kept them to two half chances (one was offside, the other was a daft back heel) all game at a place they’ve battered most other teams.

Where were you during the match thread?We may not win the league, but we have a team to be proud of, full of fight, always play to win, and never stop trying. So many positives tonight, Laporte getting a proper workout, Otamendi showing he is up for the physical battle, Mahrez getting better and better. Sergio looking the fittest he has been in years. Have every faith in Pep and this group giving us an excellent end of season, regardless of some of the nonsense spouted after the Palace game

VAR wouldn't let us win the league at any price now, even if LiVARpool lost half a dozen games on the trot.No we can’t. Liverpool could afford to lose 6 of their 16 remaining games and would still win it. They’ve only lost once in 2 seasons!! And that’s assuming we don’t drop another point which is highly unlikely. Never mind 33 to 1... I’d want 1000 to 1

Great win and Laporte looked dead on his feet when he was substituted. Jesus needs to be relieved of penalty taking duty. Three misses out of the last four he's taken in the Premier League isn't a great stat!!
