architects of our own downfall today...from the selection of a non creative midfield pairing to individual mistakes, not taking chances and inabilities to take penalties -
Thought we created enough chances to put this to bed

don't care what anyone says both those goals were saveable. These chances per goals ratio we are letting in has got to ask questions of the keeper/keepers.

we've managed to create an inferiority complex against Liverpool, Spurs and now the Rags at home and it will keep costing us till we bring players in who can change that mentality and bring a more ruthless culture.

There needs to be an inquest at the end of this season. Too much has gone wrong. There are questions to answer. This isn’t about tactics. This is about wider strategy. A complete failure of the management hierarchy.

The warning signs were there last season. We then allowed Kompany to leave without replacement, despite already being vulnerable defensively. Left-back was a major liability and yet we did nothing. Instead, we spent 30 mil on Cancelo, who has barely featured and looks no better than Danilo. Angelino has now gone, again without replacement.

We’ve signed one competent defender since Mark Hughes was the manager, despite “investing” hundreds of millions. It’s simply not good enough.
