Spurs (A) Post Match Thread

As usual, fail to put away the chances and we get beat. No one to blame but ourselves. Some of those players are passengers. We had possibly the slowest immobile midfield in the PL.
WTF was Sterling doing on there?? Bernardo or Gabby should have started. Mahrez turned into Navas today.
Our inability to put the ball into the net, unless it’s a tap in, is worrying. We got beat today, not by the better team, but by ourselves. They showed that if you shoot, early, you’re more likely to score, instead of trying to walk in.

No defending that second half and some of the brain dead decisions made by our players.
Of course we should have buried them and we can point at the missed chances galore - but questions have to be asked of the mentality we have when it comes to shooting. I don’t know who’s to blame but it’s becoming a serious concern.
Playing the perfect game doesn’t fucking exist, we need a bit of steel and grit and we need to put teams to the sword before they score their obligatory goal from their first shot.
I’m fuming by that game. Nobody comes out with much credit.
Concentrate on the cups and the season can still be a success, but the league results are a bitter pill to swallow.

Its like watching the same game every week, changes are needed. Love the bloke but some of peps decisions have been questionable to say the least. That midfield shouldn't be used.

Why? The midfield was not a problem in the slightest. It totally dominated the game, even with 10 men. We created chances loads of chances, hit the woodwork twice, missed a penalty and restricted them to limited opportunities. They literally did not create a single opportunity until Zinchenko got sent off. The midfield was fine today.

Why did Zinchenko feel the need to sprint 40 yards to get involved in handbags and get booked? He is consistently the wrong side of his man....he's a lazy player and fully deserved the 2nd yellow all day long. Shit for brains....not you, Zinchenko

Zinchenko I would argue is possibly one of the brightest in our current team! Left out to dry today. Our best left back and it’s not even his first position. Takes intelligence to play out of position.
